WALK WITH THE MOUNTAIN HISTORY !

From the bustling Grote Markt you can easily walk into the rich and turbulent history of the historic city center of Bergen op Zoom.

An experienced guide takes you on a journey of discovery along well-known, but especially unknown places.

“If stones could speak…”, well, they can’t, but our guides all the more. They bring history to life with countless anecdotes about how the people of Bergen over the centuries made their city what it is today: a captivating fortified city full of stories and entertainment!

The hiking selection menu:
Historic circular walk with a visit to one monument of your choice.
This is done in consultation with the guide.
Duration of the walk approx. one and a half hours.

You can choose from: the Old Town Hall, the Gertrudis Church, the former Synagogue, the centuries-old Prison Gate or the ground floor of the Markiezenhof.

This walk takes place on Saturday and Sunday at 2 pm and lasts approximately 1.5 hours.

In the summer season, which starts on April 27, this walk can be booked daily from Tuesday to Sunday at 2 p.m.
On this Saturday and Sunday you can also join the walk without reservation
