The Rijksmuseum organizes a series of traveling exhibitions with the 4 elements as the theme. After the themes of earth (Low Lands), water (Cool Waters), it is now the turn of the element air. After the landscapes and the farmers, the seascapes and fishermen, the works with the city views and the citizens are now on display.
The High Skies exhibition can be seen in the Markiezenhof from 2 April to 24 July.

As with the previous exhibitions, the Bergen op Zoom City Guides have put together a walk to supplement the exhibition. Once again they managed to take a walk, which included a number of beautiful locations. Which locations those are is still a secret, but guests of this walk will certainly not want to miss them!
Without wanting to reveal too much, we can already say that participants will see the city from a different perspective: height! Based on drawings from the past, the cityscape of Bergen op Zoom is therefore illuminated “from above”.
In addition, the tour is not only a sensation for your eyes and ears, but also for your sense of smell!
The walk starts on the Markt and will start from a special room while enjoying a cup of coffee and a snack. After about two hours, the walk will be concluded with a drink to discuss the walk, just like the previous walks during the exhibition.

Because there is often a height during this walk, participants must be able to walk. A maximum of 12 guests can participate at a time.

The walk starts at 2:00 PM and lasts approximately two hours.

The costs for this special walk are € 17.50. A special price of € 9 applies for children up to and including 12 years of age. Snacks and drinks are included in the price.
